I had some troubles with my first snow fall. The hoop house didn't really hold up so I've had to do some rearanging. I've gotten some tomatoes to ripen under this, but the other day it got pretty warm and I think it kind of cooked the plants. I don't understand as its not really sealed well. Oh well it was a fun experience and there was still a few basil plants alive (nothing compares to fresh basil).
Ironically this tomato I covered with a sheet as an after thought and even though the sheet gapped open in the snow fall, its still alive...
It snowed again a bit last night/today so we'll see what happens.
